Our prestigious client based in Hertfordshire is looking for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to work in their Golf Club as part of their team.
Job Description
Responsible for the smooth and efficient management of the Restaurant and to ensure a high standard of appearance, hospitality and service in staff and the organization; and cleanliness of the restaurant. To ensure supervision and training of staff. Ensure the development and implementation of programmes to increase sales/usage.
Other tasks of the job include;
Taking reservations and checking reservation schedules;
Meeting and seating members and guests;
Careful supervision of employees and inspection of uniform;
Liaising with Events planners, promotion and organization of events from time to time;
Check the maintenance of all equipment in the restaurant and report deficiencies, including inventory of restaurant items including silverware, coffee pots, water pitchers, salt and pepper holders and sugar bowls;
Recruitment and staff training
Candidate Profile
Preferably holds a Food Hygiene Level 1 certificate, generally good standard of education
Minimum of 2 years in an F&B supervisory role – preferably in a five star establishment
Silver Service knowledge desirable
Basic knowledge of wine essential
Knowledge of licensing Laws essential
Previous training experience desirable
As well as the above the successful candidate will be expected to have an immaculate appearance, an exceptional eye for detail and excellent spoken English.
Live in accommodation may be available with this vacancy but candidates will require transport as premises is remote. |
