Executive Head Chef

This reputable 3* 139 bedroom Hotel is seeking an experienced Executive Head Chef to supervise the kitchen.

As the Executive Head Chef you would be required to carry out the following:

  1. Manage the daily kitchen operations in conjunction with F&B department
  2. Work with purchasing and supervise all food ordering
  3. Monitor performance and quality of food production
  4. Meet company food cost targets
  5. Create menus for all outlets in conjunction with Management
  6. Develop and enhance culinary reputation of the company through effective PR
  7. Complete budgets and forecasts to a prescribed timetable
  8. Ensure that costs e.g. payroll and expenses are not exceeded
  9. Play an active part of the management team, through operational management

Experience required:

  1. Previous supervision of a team is essential
  2. Handling complaints and dealing with the public
  3. Maintaining standards and achieving targets
  4. Planning rotas and schedules
  5. Delegating tasks and administrations
  6. Working a variety of shifts including weekends and split shifts
  7. Good level of spoken English
