This reputable 3* 139 bedroom Hotel is seeking an experienced Executive Head Chef to supervise the kitchen.
As the Executive Head Chef you would be required to carry out the following:
- Manage the daily kitchen operations in conjunction with F&B department
- Work with purchasing and supervise all food ordering
- Monitor performance and quality of food production
- Meet company food cost targets
- Create menus for all outlets in conjunction with Management
- Develop and enhance culinary reputation of the company through effective PR
- Complete budgets and forecasts to a prescribed timetable
- Ensure that costs e.g. payroll and expenses are not exceeded
- Play an active part of the management team, through operational management
Experience required:
- Previous supervision of a team is essential
- Handling complaints and dealing with the public
- Maintaining standards and achieving targets
- Planning rotas and schedules
- Delegating tasks and administrations
- Working a variety of shifts including weekends and split shifts
- Good level of spoken English
